Reflection:

We all carry emotional baggage from our past—hurts, disappointments, fears, and regrets. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us that in Christ, we are new creations. This means we no longer have to be defined by the emotional baggage of our past. Today is about naming what you’ve been carrying in your heart and beginning the process of releasing it. Matthew 7:7-8 reminds us that God is ready to help us seek healing and open doors to freedom. Reflect on what you’ve been carrying in your heart, and begin to ask God for help in letting go.

Action/Practice:

  • Name one emotional burden you’ve been carrying. Write about how it has influenced your relationships. Then, take time to ask God for help in releasing it and experiencing freedom from that weight.

Daily Goal:

  • Name the emotional burdens you carry and release them to God for healing and freedom.

Journal Prompt:

"What emotional baggage have I carried that still affects me today? How can I surrender it to God for healing and peace?"
